What will the criminal mind think of next? I was just sitting under the roof of the bunk house porch, reading a month old copy of the "Lodestone Epitaph," when I happened across a story about a couple of hardened criminals being transported to the Yuma Prison by a U.S. Marshal. The desperados overpowered the marshal and highjacked the stage. They killed the shotgun and incapacitated the marshal in their bid for freedom. A lone parolee, who had nothing to do with the hijacking of the stage, heroically intervened and ......... that's as far as I could read since some knucklehead had spilled coffee on the paper and smeared the ink.

Fast forward to the end of the 20th century and that is the theme and story line of the movie being shown this week for Cowboy Movie Night. The movie is Con Air, starring Nicholas Cage, John Cusack and John Malkovich. A group of maximum security prisoners are being transported on a Justice Pronsoner and Alien Transportation System aircraft. The prisoners take over the aircraft and highjack it in a attempted break for freedom. Parolee, Cameron Poe ( Nicholas Cage) on his way to freedom and a rendesvous with his wife gets mixed up in the adventure.

Movie will be shown Wednesday, June 11th, 6:00 PM in the Sunny Ridge basement theater. Posse from the Sheboygan Rifle and Pistol Club will supply the refreshments including, but not limited to, popcorn, cheese and summer sausage,
and cold beverages. Make plans to attend.

This will be the first of our summer movie schedule that will include, Battleship, Payback and My Cousin Vinny.
